BRIEF INTRODUCTION

  • Founded in 1999 by South Sudanese community leaders, late co-founder and Regional Director of AAH-I Dr. Erasmus and Prof. Kiblighat from Kenya
  • Right after the first SPLA/M national convention of 1994 in chukdum in which civil authority was separated from the military authority establishing civil administrative structures at regional, county, payam and boma levels
  • IPCS as the only technical training institution in the SPLA/M liberated areas, it was to strengthen the institutional and personnel capacities of the local administration, youth, women and chiefs structures

  1. To promote the values and benefits of democratic practices and institutions.
  2. To lobby and advocate for the promotion and strengthening of stakeholders and community relationships for peaceful co-existence.

  4. To nurture and promote – within organized civil society and local government – a culture of disciplined and accountable delivery of services.
  5. To enhance efficient and effective application of IPCS’ resources for the implementation of programs.
