Capacity building of law enforcement agencies (Police)
IPCS promotes the rule law and respect for human rights as well as advocating for an end to all forms of violence against women and children.
This is done by strengthening the capacity of the police, prisons and establishing Gender Units at the police stations, educating the communities, supporting the customary law structures at all levels.
This program has intensively reduced GBV rates in all the Counties IPCS has implemented this project. This fact is found by comparing previous police data to the present data.
Facilitating community based peace building
IPCS mediates in a number of community based conflicts to create enabling environmental for sustainable food and income security.
Most community conflicts are related to land issues, unclear administrative boundaries, local leadership positions. So, IPCS trains local peace facilitators and supported by its peace building focal person to create early waning systems, educate the communities and assign representatives to leave the early waning systems.
IPCS uses the DO NO HARM approach in creating more connectors and minimizing dividers. IPCS does this by creating cooperatives, communal cultivation, road repairs, market maintenance, water point cleaning and repair as well as PTA members.
Child Protection, GBV, Customary law research and civic education

IPCS is also involved in fighting all forms of violence against women and empowering staff to practice prevention of violence from their homes
IPCS conducts and documents the positive customary laws of many tribes in Equatoria to informed our support for the customary courts and chiefs
IPCS has been core at civic education. We enable the citizens understand their rights, roles and obligations in promoting peace, unity and development.
